How crowded is your kitchen drawer? Is it starting to look like a garage sale gone bad? Do you honestly need all those pots and pans?

How about the cleanup process? Is it a disaster? Scrubbing and scraping is such a chore and it can eat up all your time instead of enjoying the cooking process.

Copper Chef pan to the rescue! This cookware system brags about replacing 6 pans and cooking food at half the time without the need of cleanup. Too good to be true? Read on.

What is a Copper Chef Pan?

Copper Chef is a flagship cooking system product manufactured by Fusion Brands and sold by Tri-Star Products. If you’re tired of having too many pans in your kitchen, this one is worth the second look. This copper infused pan works as a skillet, wok, steamer, roasting pot, baking dish and rice cooker in one.

While other non-stick cooking system use Teflon to prevent food from sticking while it cooks, this new comer uses Cerami-Tech, a copper infused ceramic coating to accomplish the non-sticking effect.

It can withstand temperatures up to 850 degrees Fahrenheit and it can be used on the stove top or the oven. Here are some advantages of Copper Chef.

Non-Stick and So Easy to Clean

Because of Cerami-tech, this pan boasts non-sticking capability unparalleled even in stickiest of food. Again, because of this, it also boasts as the easiest to clean of all the pans in the market. How easy is it to clean? Well, it’s easy enough that you actually don’t need to. Just wipe it with a clean cloth and it’s good to go.

Considered as one of the healthier ceramic, you can cook without the use of oil or butter and its totally free from PFOA’s or PTFE’s. Cerami-tech spreads heat evenly without any hot spots, and because of this, it is known to cook the food in half the time.

The One Pan to Rule them All

While most kitchen drawers are crowded with different pans, this cookware system is a 6-in-1 type, it can replace most pans in majority of cooking circumstances.

Regardless of what stove you have in your kitchen, this pan is not choosy. It has a round stainless steel induction plate in its bottom, it can work with electric, gas, ceramic and induction surface. You feel the need to use the oven, no problem. This pan is comfortable in the oven too.

Let me just clarify from the get go that this pan is not entirely made of copper. Cerami-tech is infused with copper allowing it to withstand temperatures to as high as 850 degrees Fahrenheit. Hot enough to cook whatever you want? Yes, I think so too.

Other Features that You Will Love

The typical Copper Chef set includes a deep square pan, steamer rack, glass lid, and a fry basket. It comes with a 60-day warranty although you will be responsible for shipping fees in the rare case that you are not satisfied with the product and decides to return it. You will definitely love the:

  • Strong riveted handles
  • 5-layer construction
  • Volume capacity of 4.5 quarts
  • Dishwasher safe
  • A hefty recipe book that contains 25 dishes

The handle is hollow which means that it cools down faster than the rest of the pan. While this also means that you can lift it without using a cooking mitt, it wouldn’t hurt if you wear one just in case.

As you might have already guessed, this premium pan is more expensive compared to pans with similar styles and design. But what do you expect with such feature-rich item?

Does it Really Work?

As far as my experience went, I would say that this pan delivered what it promised. It cooked all the food that I tried to throw its way evenly, there were no hot spots as indicated by the absence of food burns.

Leaving meat and vegetable to cook at high temperature without the worrying that it would burn was a pleasant surprise.

Above all, the non-stick surface really works even if you use wooden or metal cookware. Before I tried Copper Chef, I need to use fat or butter whenever I fry or bake in the pan. Today, I don’t see the need to use any of these. In fact, thanks to Copper Chef, I have successfully switched to a healthier fat-free cooking.
